In recent years,the neural network is used in many fields. Now, the research to model a neural network is active. Application of a neural network will make it possible to recognize a picture and words in a computer. Thus, a neural network is used for flexible information processing that a human has.
The chaotic neural network was used in this study. It is a neural network with closer work of a human brain. The input of alphabetic patterns to the chaotic neural network make it learn. Next, unknown patterns are inputted and the network learns them repeatedly. In this process, it is investigated that how the network forgets the pattern that it learned first.
Alphabetic patterns show simply in a visual way how much the patterns collapsed.
Finally,the same pattern memorized at first is inputted into the neural network, and the difference between the output pattern and the input pattern is investigated. When the output pattern is not remembered completely, it will recognize as that the output pattern is forgotten.
From this experiment, it is investigated that how the chaotic neural network forgets the pattern memorized is.
